Memorial services for Ms. Audrey Rockwell, 56, of Longview, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026 at The Living Gospel Longview under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.

Ms. Audrey Latrice Rockwell (Boochie), beloved daughter to the late Henry Dues Sr. and Geneva Espy-Smith, was born May 5,1969 in Jefferson, Texas. To know her was to love her. She left a lasting impression on anyone who met her. She transitioned to Glory on March 27,2026.

Audrey received her education through the Ore City and Jefferson school system. When she entered the workforce world, she took pride in the longevity she kept at Walmart, Campfire and PFK Childcare Centers. She enjoyed bringing a smile to her co-workers’ faces with a daily joke or phrase.

Her greatest blessing was her son, Cord (Desiree) and her grandchildren, Carter (preceded her in death), Jeremiah and Carsyn. Her eyes would light up and her pain would temporarily ease when she saw or spoke to them.

Audrey has completed her Earthly Journey and kept her faith in God until the very end. Those that will be greeting her at the Heavenly Gates: her parents; aunt (mother figure) Alberta Wright; grandson, with a BIG HUG, Carter; brother, Steven Dues; grandparents, uncles and cousins.

Those left to keep her memory alive:  her son: Cordarion Smith (Desiree); grandchildren: Jeremiah and Carsyn Smith; sisters, Lesia Espy (Roosevelt), Venesia Ann Smith, Bridget Walker (Eddie), Angel McCullough (Nathaniel), Lateshia Cobb (Robert), and Chresia Wright; brothers: Henry Dues Jr. and Laquinn Wright; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Audrey’s presence will be missed but now she is no longer in pain yet her memories are a lasting blessing.
