Carolyn Bennett, 76, of Linden passed from this earth on July 26, 2026. She attended Linden-Kildare schools. Upon her graduation, she attended junior college and moved to Dallas. For the next thirty years, she worked at a large law firm as a legal secretary. She loved her work. Upon retirement, she moved back to Linden to take care of her mother. She dearly loved her four-legged friends and always helped those in need. Carolyn was so friendly, had such a sweet spirit, and is loved by many.
Carolyn is survived by her cousin, Linda Wells of Linden, and several other cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Olin Bennett; her mother, Jean Daniels; and her brother, Steve Bennett.
Graveside services for Ms. Bennett will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Concord Cemetery.

Our last phone conversation with Carolyn centered around caring for her Mother. ✝️
My sister, Carol Ann, and I have such fond memories of Carolyn. Today, we viewed her obituary and wanted to express our sadness at her loss. Steve and Carolyn were our age growing up in Linden with Carol Ann being her classmate. To Linda, the extended family and friends we wish God Speed to Carolyn at her final resting place.
She was a wonderful friend for many years.
We all had so much fun with her in early grade school and through high school.
