Funeral services for Mr. Jason Raymond Adams, 44, of Linden, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Linden. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Linden, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Mr. Adams will lie in state for a time of viewing from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2026, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

Jason was born to Reginald and Martha Adams. He was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Constance Adams; and his maternal grandparents, Luther and Mary Shurn.

Jason became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age. He was a graduate of Linden-Kildare High School, Class of 2000. Following graduation, Jason answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He proudly served for seven years and was a veteran of the Iraq War. His dedication to his fellow veterans continued after his military service as an active member of the New Boston VFW.

Jason is survived by his siblings, Alethea Moore, Abdul Mustafa, Shawn Matlock (Belinda), Gina Adams, Jean Bethea (Kianne), Reginald “Aaron” Adams, LaKendrick Linwood (Chassidy), LaRodrick Linwood, and Tyesha Hopkins; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Floral deliveries may be sent to Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, 202 N. Main St., Linden, Texas 75563.
