Resided in: Mount Pleasant, Texas

Mary Elizabeth Hawkins and her infant son, Declan Wayne Donihoo were welcomed into the arms of Jesus on October 7, 2023.

Mary was born July 22, 1995 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Kenny and Kristy Hawkins. Mary had the most beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She made friends wherever she went. She loved her friends and family fiercely

She graduated from Paul Pewitt High School where she was active in many activities. She went on to earn her degree from Dallas Mortuary Institute. Mary was a licensed Funeral Director, having worked at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas and was a long time employee of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. She was a member of Daniels Chapel Church.

Mary worried she would never have children and prayed for a family of her own. God answered those prayers when he gave her Dusty, Ily, and Fen. She was blessed again when she found out they would be adding baby Declan to their family.

Mary was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Hawkins; grandfathers, Noel Hawkins and Oscar Davis; and uncle, Kevin Wayne Hawkins.

She is survived by fiancé, Dusty Donihoo; parents, Kenny and Kristy Hawkins; children, Ilyena  and Fenrir Donihoo; brother, Kody Hawkins and wife, Jazmine; grandmother, Patricia Cline; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Michele Donihoo; aunts and uncles, Suzie Dorough, Amanda Justice and husband Mark, Chris McCord and wife Nita, Don Cameron, Randy Davis and wife Paula, David Davis and wife Rebecca, Rosalinda Moss and husband Troy, Sabrina Escamilla, and Oscar Davis, Jr.; 11 nieces and nephews; best friends, Angel Moore and husband Caleb, Jennifer Sullivan and husband Dakota; dear friends, Sammie Saincome and Tiara Bernon; a host of cousins and extended family; and countless friends.
