Graveside services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Hampton, 98, of Atlanta, Texas, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Algoma Cemetery in Marshall, Texas, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

Lillie Mae Hampton was born August 19, 1925 in Edgewood, Texas to Obed and Clara Watson Powell.  She passed away October 11, 2023 in Linden, Texas.  Mrs. Hampton was a Homemaker who loved the outdoors, flowers, crocheting, and most of all, her family.  She was a member of New Colony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin Hampton; sisters:  Ann, Myrtis, Baby Ruth; brothers: W.J., LaRoy, O.C.

Mrs. Hampton is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Leland Marsh of Atlanta, Texas; grandsons:  Guy Marsh and wife Dana of Midland, Texas, Paul Marsh of Longview, Texas; 8 great-grandchildren:  Lawson Schulz and wife Laura, Daly Marsh and wife Domonique, Zach Marsh and wife Bethany, Cameron Schulz and wife Madeline, Tristan Marsh, Trinity Marsh, Lily Marsh, Cy Marsh; six great-great-grandchildren: Greyson Marsh, Jolene Marsh, Clara Schulz, Crew Schulz, Samson Marsh, Rowyn Schulz; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family would like to thank Focused Care of Linden, Heritage Hospice, and Prime Care Hospice for the loving care they provided to Mrs. Hampton and family.
