Janet Owen Reynolds was born January 24, 1947 to Jack and Evelyn Owen in New York. She passed peacefully from this life on November 13, 2023 at her home in Lone Star, surrounded by family. Janet loved her family and lived for her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and family get togethers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ronnie Owen, Cheryl Baker, Jack Owen, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Rebecca Reynolds.
Janet is survived by her children, Tammi Moore, Dianna Briggs, Lewis Reynolds, Jr. and wife Pam, Scott Reynolds; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Cora On and husband Tom, Brenda McGowan and husband David, William Owen and wife Donna; sister-in-law, Patty Owen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will have a celebration of Janet’s life at a later date.

JANET made the best potato and macaroni salads known to man! Her laughter made everyone else laugh along. She was a woman of faith and we all will miss her.
Such wonderful memories of camping cookouts and get togethers with Janet. The best homemade pizza ever and cinnamon buns, she could cook for sure. RIP ❤️
