Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My wife and I met Jenny just a few years back at her humble home. From the time we stepped through the door her hospitality made me right at home. Southern hospitality perhaps, I feel more from the time in history she was raised not long after the great depression, maybe a combination of both. A time when folks were closer to the land that fed them. My mother was from this time and raised six of us in a small humble household. She made each one of us feel special to her at different times. My siblings and I still kid around about who was her favorite. Jenny cooked supper for us and the entire home cooked meal was delicious. What stood out to me most was the cornbread and black eyed peas. I’m from Missouri so this was a little new to me. After dinner and as we were leaving I knew we had to be her favorite guest of all time. Just kidding myself because Mothers from that time made everyone feel like they were the favorite guest. My bet is there were times growing up when cornbread and black eyed peas were the meal. I know when I have black eyed peas and cornbread in the future it will always be a little more special remembering that meal shared. Our hearts goes out to all her family and friends. Sincerely, Ron and Ada Knutelski

  5. I dearly loved my sister. We were so close. We were blessed to be called by and serve God. We both witnessed miracles. We were young when the Lord called us and were blessed to raise our children unto God.
