  5. Candle 5She had a big impact on my entire family during the time we lived in Ore City. God did not make many people like her. Thank you Lord for the gift of love you gave us through Miss Nellie.

  6. Miss Nellie Ruth was part of our family for many years. When my mother, Sue Newsom, went back to school to finish her teaching degree on Saturdays, she took care of us kids. She even helped us move to Spring Hill when Mother became a teacher there. I saw her through the years and always thought of her and her family fondly. My deepest sympathy to those left to cherish her precious memory. Sarah Dee, Gloria, I have the best memories of you two as well. Much love to all.

  9. I was so sorry to hear about Miss Nellie’s death. I did not know she had been sick and am so sorry about that. Miss Nellie was a part of our family for so long we referred to her as our sister. She was wonderful to our Mother, as a friend, as support, as someone who cared and would stop and check on her. We loved her dearly. That is why I feel so badly that I didn’t know she was sick and in the hospital. Ore City will miss a lovely lady who genuinely cared for everyone and showed her love everywhere she went. She was loved by all who knew her. May Jesus give you comfort in knowing that Nellie is home with Him in Heaven, and the angels are waiting on her and singing all around her.

  10. Prayers to all of the family. I loved being in the nursery at church with Miss Nellie and also loved seeing her at my parents home too.

  11. Candle 5My heartfelt condolences to the entire family in time of y’all grief, my prayers are with everyone.
