With profound sorrow and deep love, we announce the passing of Bubba, a devoted husband, beloved son, cherished brother, and treasured member of our family. Bubba left this world far too soon, but his warmth, laughter, and love will echo in the hearts of those who knew him forever. Bubba lived with purpose, heart, and strength. He was known for his unwavering loyalty, sense of humor, and the love he so freely gave to his family. His presence was a steady source of comfort and joy. He was preceded in death by his beloved cousin, Junior, with whom he shared many cherished memories including mamaw Debbie and papaw Dwayne.
He is survived by many who will carry his memory forward with love: Wife: Angela, his best friend and partner in all things — their bond was unbreakable, and her love gave his life profound meaning. Mother: Chasity, whose nurturing heart helped shape the man Bubba became. Father: Joe, his namesake and a guiding force throughout his life. Grandparents: Joe and Corina Martinez, and Esther Gutierrez. Brothers: Michael, Andrew, Matthew, with whom Bubba shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unbreakable brotherhood. Nieces and Nephews: Dalylah, Mayvrie, Alaina, Henley, Alaia, Avaia, Angel, Cruz, Luke, Angelo, Andre, JayJay, Kyron, Tyren, Chris, Carmelo and whose lives were brightened by Uncle Bubba’s love and playful spirit. He adored each of them, always taking time to make them feel special. He was also deeply loved and embraced by his extended family through marriage: Mother-in-law: Betty, and Father-in-law: Joe, who welcomed him as a son. Brothers-in-law: Byron, Angel, and Andre, and Sisters-in-law: Audrey, Jessica, Taylor, and Jazmin each of whom held a special place in Joe’s life. In addition to his immediate family, he leaves behind a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Bubba’s impact was wide-reaching, and his love was felt deeply by all who knew him. His legacy is one of loyalty, family, and compassion, values he lived by every single day. Though he may no longer walk among us, Bubba’s spirit will remain, in every laugh, every memory, and in the hearts of those he loved most.

We love you Bebe.
We were a part of the family for 20+ years, so I always considered you my nephew and a cousin to my boys. I will miss seeing you randomly in town, giving me a hug, and having a short but meaningful conversation. You were so sweet and respectful. I will miss you Bubba! Rest in peace nephew.
