I am so sorry to hear this news. May God give Barbara and the family peace and comfort.
Coach Crane was good coach and it wasn’t until after I stop playing at LK, that I learned to appreciate him as a coach. I wasn’t his best player or even his favorite player but I’m thankful for the foot prints he left in my life. I’ve been coaching for over 35 years as a youth and high school coach and he was one of the reasons I started coaching. May you rest in peace Coach Crane 🙏🏾🏀💪🏾
David and I send our prayers that God wrap his arms around you to provide peace and comfort in this time of sorrow. We have fond memories of John while we were at Pewitt. He was a fine man whose influence on young people’s lives is part of his legacy. RIP John!
So very sorry to hear about the passing of Coach Crane. He was another one of the good ones at Celeste High School, Celeste, Texas. He is remembered fondly here–and he was only here way back in 1971 – 1972 when he was a young man. We all have been enriched by his crossing our paths. God bless the family, Sarah Roach Swindell, Celeste.
Barbara, Russell and family. We are sad at John’s passing but know that he is with the Lord and we will see him again one day. We have so many fond and fun memories of worshiping together at First Baptist in Naples. We will never forget your visit to John in the hospital in Tyler after the car accident and John offering a beautiful, heartfelt prayer for his recovery. Our love and prayers are sent to you today, sweet, beautiful Barbara. John and Linda
John and I have been friends for years. I’m shocked. Condolences and prayers to Barbara and Russell.
I was fortunate enough to be a member of the 1977 L-K basketball team that Coach Crane took to the state tournament. Many fond memories of a great run we put together, including beating the number one team in state at the regional tournament. Coach Crane was an outstanding coach, but an even better man. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for Barbara and Russell.
