Funeral services for Mr. Kristopher Glynn Smith, 44, of Naples, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Kristopher was born on October 2, 1981, in Naples, Texas, to Terry Smith and Sharon Duck. He passed away on January 6, 2026.
Kris was a talented mechanic who could fix just about anything. He loved to hunt and fish and had a special place in his heart for animals. He truly enjoyed being with his family, there was never a dull moment when he was around. He also worked as a ranch and farm hand and found peace riding down back roads, enjoying the simple things in life.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Martha Duck; and paternal grandparents, Scott and Loretta Smith and Betty Miller.
Kris is survived by his daughter, Chiyanne Smith; mother, Sharon Smith (Shawn Anderson); father, Terry Smith; sister, Michelle Smith; brother, Jesse Robertson (Jill Carlson); half-brother, Kaleb Blankenship; half-sister, Brianna Smith; uncles: Robert Duck (Debbie), David Duck, Daniel Duck; aunt, Belinda Crocker (Jerry); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kris leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished forever.
