Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Marie Velazquez, 60, of Hughes Springs, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs, with Bro. Ervin Gould officiating.  Burial will follow at Dennis Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.  There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026, at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.

Debbie was born on January 16, 1966, in Lone Star, Texas, to Mr. Robert Louis Moore and Mrs. Patsy Easley Moore. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister who cherished every moment spent with her family.  She passed away surrounded by her loving family at home on March 11, 2026.

Debbie was known as “Mama” to everyone who knew her. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her beloved grandbabies. She loved cooking for her family, staying busy with yardwork, and enjoying the outdoors while camping. Debbie had a caring heart and a welcoming spirit that made everyone feel at home.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Patsy Easley Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 41 years, Jose Velazquez; her father, Robert Louis Moore; her daughters, Christina Marie Felipe (Michael), Gloria Loretta Driggers (Derek), Valentina Victoria Snyder (Chris), and Eladia Sofia Carpenter (Justin); her sons, Jose De Jesus Velazquez, Jr. (Kristen) and Martin Nathaniel Velazquez (Skylar); her grandchildren, Triston Joudah, Christopher Snyder, Jr., Jaila Snyder, Lexis Smoak, Korbin Velazquez, Paxton Carpenter, Porter Carpenter, Pinsley Carpenter, Raylan Driggers, Alaina Velazquez, and Carter Velazquez; her brothers, Robert Dale Moore (Michelle) and Raymond Danny Moore; and her sister, Mary Diane Amos (James).

Debbie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her love, warmth, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
