Lloyd Weatherall

Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd Weatherall, 73, of Avinger, Texas, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Marion County Community Center. Burial will follow at Pyland Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Mr. Weatherall will lie in state for viewing from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2026, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Lloyd Weatherall was born to Alf and Gladys Weatherall on October 8, 1952. At the age of 73, he was called home on May 19, 2026, in Avinger, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alf and Gladys Weatherall; his brothers, Darnell Weatherall, Randell Weatherall, and Raymond Moore; and his sister, Mary Weatherall.

Lloyd graduated from Jefferson High School and worked for the City of Dallas Water Company for many years, where he eventually retired.

In 1972, he was united in marriage to Rosland Weatherall, and to this union two children were born, Lloyd Lynn Weatherall and Shantay Hall. He later met his devoted wife of 20 years, Lisa Durden.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife, Lisa Durden; his children, Lloyd L. (Lucia) Weatherall and Shantay Hall; and a bonus daughter, Stephanie Williams. He also leaves his grandchildren, Zaria Weatherall, Micah Weatherall, Eliana Weatherall, and Ariel Hall; and a bonus grandson, Jakosh Williams Jr.

He is also survived by his siblings, Harry Moore, Lawrence (Mary) Weatherall, Arthur Weatherall, Rita (Edward) Bowser, and Magaline Williams; an uncle, Tommy Lee Coleman (Ethel Mae); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
