Ola Coker

Mrs. Ola Coker, 78, of Ore City, Texas, passed away July 1, 2026, in Longview.   There will be a time of viewing and visitation for family and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.

Mrs. Coker dedicated 36 years of her life to teaching elementary school. She loved her students deeply and continued teaching as long as she was able, because education and children held such a special place in her heart. Through the years, she touched the lives of countless children, offering not only lessons in the classroom, but also kindness, encouragement, and care that many will carry with them always.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Johnson; two sons, Donnie and Wayne; daughter, Stacy; granddaughter, Kristina Riley;  grandson, Aron Nabor; great-grandchildren: Eleana, Alison, Jacoby; and many other family members, former students, and friends who will cherish her memory.
