  1. Dennis was a good friend but I don’t think he could handle the loss of Lessie. A true servant for God, America and local EMS ( Fire Department). His contributions and Devotion will be missed but not forgotten. RIP Old Friend!

  3. Denis was very dear to my family. My children adopted him as Papa Denis. He will be dearly missed but I’m thankful he’s been reunited with his beloved Lessie. He told me so many stories from his time in the Navy, growing up in Wyoming and loving his wife. I’m thankful we got to know him.

  4. Candle 2known Denis 20yrs plus. Always a smile. Always had a story about family & friends. Remembering & sharing stories of those no longer with us. He loved the USA. He was a Navy Veteran. He served with the Honor Guard from the American Legion. He saw the flags were placed on Veterans gravesites every year. God has a special place for him, to continue greeting his fellow veterans with a handshake & “Welcome home” God bless this grateful soul.

  5. Candle 2Denis was a bright light to those around him and a loyal member of the highly respected and appreciated Hughes Springs Honor Guard for many years. He always had a sparkle in his eye, ready to bring a smile to those around him. Very sad to hear of his passing.
