Services for Carephanie Berry Armstrong, 89, will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Ore City. Burial will follow at Mims Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. Armstrong was born March 20, 1927 in Avinger, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ellie Mae Berry; husband, Marty (MQ) Armstrong; son, Louis Spearman; siblings, Artis Berry, Marion Berry, Otis Berry, Josie Montgomery, Lola Spearman, Arlene Davis; and granddaughter, Kiesha Armstrong.
She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Nadine Armstrong, Marilyn Armstrong, Wanda Armstrong (Kenneth), Ronnie Armstrong (Diane), Mardie Armstrong, Jr. (Sharee), and Michael Armstrong; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to hospice nurse, Eva Linville.
