Lloyd Derrell Glover, 87, of Linden passed away December 16, 2016. Mr. Glover was born November 23, 1929 in Sulphur Bluff, Texas to Hooper Glover and Beulah Carr. Mr. Glover worked at Lone Star Steel for 44 years and was a member of Centerhill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Doug Glover and wife Myrtle of Linden, TX., Ben Glover and wife Donna of Dripping Springs, TX.; four grandchildren, Justin Glover, Samantha Grant and husband Ed, Nicholas Glover and wife Kendra, Kristyn Selden; step-grandson, Scott Eudy; two great-grandchildren, Brittany Selden and Donovan Seldon, and one brother, Don Glover.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Mary Ann (Cooter) Glover; parents and three brothers.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 19, 2016 at Centerhill Cemetery with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating. Burial under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Linden.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday evening at the funeral home.
