Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. As small kids we always had a great Easter at Aunt Estelle's and Uncle TCs! Lots of eggs, prizes and overall wonderful family fellowship! God bless the family.

  2. Some of my best childhood memories are of when I got to spend vacations at T-bo's (T.C.) and Nana's (Sandra) house. It was always fun to help him work at the deer lease clearing beaver dams and maintaining the roads. We would go fishing on his boat and eat our catch for dinner, and that's still the best fish I've ever had. In fact, food always tasted better at their house. We often walked into town, stopping at the post office, and sometimes at the bank to say hi to Nana. Weekend nights were spent in front of the TV, eating popcorn and peanuts, and sometimes ice cream. Of course, that was the best ice cream I've ever had. T-bo was always teaching me something new when I was a kid. He taught me how to fish and how to drive a nail. He taught me the importance of patience while we sat in a deer stand for hours. He taught me to be respectful to others, especially my elders. There are too many lessons to even list, and I thank him for every one of them. T-bo made me a better person, and I bet everyone that knew him can say the same thing. I regret not spending more time with my grandfather as I got older. I miss him, but I know we'll go fishing again one day.

  3. Family and friends of Mr. Strickland, We are sorry for your loss: Our heavenly Father provided us with the gift of His son, Jesus, who said at John 11:25 I am the resurrection and the life. The one, who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life. All the promises of Almighty God come true. May Gods loving-kindness comfort you (Psalm 119:7)

  4. TC was a good man. I have so many great memories I can't even count. We spent countless hours in the big woods of Caddo Lake getting ready for deer season. I will never forget. My prayers are with Nana and the family today.LoveCraig McAlister

  5. T.C. Strickland was my Uncle married to my Aunt Estelle Crow Strickland. My Mother, Gladine Crow Clements' Sister. I have known T.C. all my life.
