Services for Constance Lange 83, of Ore City will be 1:00 pm Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Ore City with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
Ms. Lange, Connie as she was known, was born June 12, 1933 in Waukesha, WI to Verna Chapiewski and Adolf Spytek and passed away July 21, 2016 at her home in Ore City.

She moved to St. Louis, Mo and graduated high school at 16 and went on to college. She married Bill Lange in 1955. They had 2 daughters and moved to Dallas, Texas. They had another son and daughter after moving to Texas. They divorced in 1972.

After many years of working in Dallas, mainly in accounting, Connie grew tired of the big city. She moved to Daingerfield and later to Ore City. During this time, she attended NETCC and UT Tyler, acquiring a BA degree in Art. Some of her work was displayed in Art Galleries in New York City, New York and Cape Giradeau Mo. In her last years, she enjoyed the Garden Club and painting.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Barbara Lanning of Kerrville, Texas.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Cathy Douglas and husband Don of Denton; Alexa Fuller of Kapolei HI; a son Wes Lange and girlfriend Judy Daffer of Austin; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
