  11. Danny and I shared a many of our lifetime experiences over the past thirteen years. He was a father, friend and confidant to my two grandsons, Christopher and Brandon Moffett. Danny took these boys and provided for them like they were his very own and I, as their grandmother, can never express my gratitude and appreciation for his ever loving kindness. Danny had a heart of gold and I will miss his hour long telephone conversations three to four times a week. We were both lonely and needed a lifeline of support after the death of my grandson's mother, Janet Moffett Elias. Rest in peace Danny as you are in the arms of Jesus now. We will miss you and your friendship will be with me forever!Vern & Barbara Williams

  15. Well I didn't know Danny personally but he was always the ticket taker at the show and I have been going to that show for 45 years , it want be the same with out Danny sitting there he always had something funny to say if he had the time and was always watchful over the kids to make sure they behaved when the parents weren't around. I was glad he told me my child never gave him any problems and even a few times he let me in for free….sorry Walter , he will be missed. D.F.

  16. Danny, how I wish you could read all these beautiful and loving memories from your friends and family. You will indeed be missed. Can't imagine going to the theater and not seeing you there. Rest peacefully friend.

  17. Danny worked for my parents, E G Jr. and Olliedyne McMillan, at the Piggly Wiggly stores in Daingerfield and Hughes Springs. He was a good worker and loyal, and my parents depended upon him to "get the job done" and be available when needed. I don't recall when Danny started to work for my parents, but it seemed he was one of those "forever" employees. He was always in a good mood and wore a smile, and was courteous and kind to people. In my parents last years, he always asked about them and visited them on many occasions. Danny was not just an employee of the McMillans, he was also a friend. R.I.P Danny.E G (Sonny) McMillan III
