Mr. Henry Lee Peters was born July 19, 1920 in Daingerfield, Texas to the late Nannie Peters and passed away January 30, 2016 at Longview Regional Hospital. Henry attended Rosenwald Public School in Cason, Texas. He married Mrs. Frankie Fridia Peters and to this union seven children were born. Henry worked for Lone Star Steel Company for 18 years. He also spent many years working as a farmer and cattleman.
He was preceded in death by his wife ,Frankie Fridia Peters; mother, Nannie Peters; brother, Lawrence Peters; nieces, Sandra C. and Kathy Peters; and nephew, Lawrence Peters, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Margaret (Guy) Grant of Daingerfield, Texas, Shirley J. Beard of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Margie N. Coats of Dallas, Texas; four sons, Henry S. Peters, Bobby (Maudie) Peters of Cason, Bennie C. Peters of Longview, and Billy D. Smith of Kentwood, Michigan; one niece Myrtle F. Jublies of Dover, Deleware; one great-niece, Michelle Mitchell; and a host of grands and great-grands and three generations of great great-grandchildren. Services for Mr. Peters, 95 will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
