Services for Era Pearson will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Clark cemetery in the Jenkins community under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home. Era Pearson went home to be with her Lord on November 18, 2015. She was born May 21, 1918 to her parents, Jimmy H. Green and Melinda Elizabeth (Martin) Green at Union Hill near Linden. Texas. She is survived by all of her three children, Polly, Pete and his wife Pat, Carol and her husband Kim; her five grandchildren, Lesa Hobaugh Bassham, Linda Telford and her husband Jeff, Ryan Sutton, Trent Sutton and his wife Samantha, and Michele Antonini and her husband Joel; her eight great-grandchildren, Johnathon Hall, Jeremey Hall, Jessica Cummings, Ashley Telford, Abigail Telford, Carter Sutton, Cade Sutton, Hayley, Hannah, and Elijah Antonini; and her great great-grandchild, Hadley Telford; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband John, she was preceded in going to heaven by all of her brothers and sisters, which were Edgar Green, Ola Liles, Dick Green, Ollie Mae Thomas, Arrie Green, Halbert Green, Lida Bell Pate, Vaughn Green, Erma Hitchcock, Vera Ross, Clara Collins, and Fairra Martin Rogers.
