Funeral Services for Carole Davis, 69 of Daingerfield, will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Daingerfield. Burial to follow at Clark Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis was born August 1, 1945 in Gilmer, Texas and passed away June 14, 2015 at her home. Carole was a member of First Baptist Church in Daingerfield, a member of Daingerfield High School Class of 1963, founding member of the Daingerfield Chapter of Beta Sigma of Phi, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Eastern Star, and Twentieth Century Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Finley and Shirley Finley Parker and step-father, M. R. Parker; and sister, Venita Baker. Mrs. Davis is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ronald Davis of Daingerfield; daughter, Lori Loyd and husband, Lee of Daingerfield; sons, Ronald Davis, Jr and wife Vicki of Dallas and Jonathan Richard Finley and Marie Robinson of Lone Star; five grandchildren, Erin Loyd and wife Amber of Lubbock, Tiffany Loyd Moraine and husband Shad of Hallsville, Ally Davis of Greenville, Leonardo Franco of Laredo, and Gabriella Davis of Laredo; five great-grands, that she called her little punkins, Cole, Levi, and Brett Moraine of Hallsville, Taylor and Eden Loyd of Lubbock; sister, Johneice Broussard and husband Roy and Shirley McClellan, all of Daingerfield; brothers-in-law, Jessie Baker of Daingerfield and Richard Davis and wife Kellie of Lone Star; nephew, Eric Davis of Oklahoma City. She will be missed by many relatives and her dear friends, especially The Bluebird group.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Carol. She called me not long ago and we had a great visit. You are in my prayers.
I will always remember that wonderful sense of humor and her contagious laugh. Over the years we shared many good times together and I am grateful for such wonderful memories. Uncle Ronnie, Lori, Ronnie, and Jonathan my heart goes out to you and your family. There is nothing I can say to make it better but my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time.
