Graveside services for Edna Poole, 74, of Hughes Springs, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Poole was born July 14, 1940 in Hughes Springs and passed away November 16, 2014 in Hughes Springs. Edna worked as a nurse at Glenn Garrett Clinic in Linden for 28 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and she loved the Wildflower Trails in East Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Poole; parents, Earl and Inez Glaze; and brother-in-law, Norman Dale Faulkner. She is survived by one son, Jeff Roberts; one daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and Rusty Russell; five grandchildren: Robin Alexander, Whitney Russell, Chloe Roberts Dyess, Chad Wilson, and Chelsey Naron; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Pearson and husband Don; two step-sons, Kris Poole and Dale Poole; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  8. I have so many memories of sweet Miss Edna for I have known her all my life. She helped bring me into this world. I loved going to the clinic because I got to see her and Dr. Glenn. She always gave me a big hug. I know each one of you will miss her soo much. You are all in my prayers.
