Betty Jean Lewis was born March 25, 1952 to the parents of George Allen and Ruby Lee Williams in Daingerfield, Texas. She grew up and attended school in Daingerfield. Betty joined church at an early age and continued to serve as a faithful member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Her Christian walk was clearly seen by all who knew her. Betty was united in marriage to Darryl Lewis in 1993. Betty worked for Pilgrim's for 42 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Betty had a quiet spirit but her love was unselfish and strong. She found such joy in spending time with her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, George Allen and Ruby Lee Williams, of Daingerfield, Texas and one brother, Alton Wilkerson of Hondo, Texas. Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Darryl Lewis; four sisters, Mary Joyce Williams, Ruby Jewel (Robert) Stoker, Vivian Cook (Kelly) Woodard of Omaha, Texas, Zsa Zsa Turner of White Oak, sister-in-laws, Andrea Johnson and Sylvia Jones of Houston, Texas, Michelle Lewis of Roundrock, Texas; four brothers, James Allen (Michelle) Williams of Pittsburg, Texas, Eddie Dean (Marnita) Williams of Naples, Texas, Melvalon Williams of Omaha and Elliot Wilkerson of Pittsburg, Texas; brotherin-laws, Gary Lewis of Flugerville, Texas, Dr. Vincent Lewis of Arlington, Texas and Michael (Karen) Lewis of Houston, Texas; three daugters, Latoya Danielle Williams [Albert Alexander
