HUGHES SPRINGS Graveside services for Carolyn Sue Helton, 69, of Daingerfield, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Mrs. Helton was born July 6, 1945 and passed away July 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Hudson; father, Ernest Nesselrode; step-father, James Scott Terry; sister, Iva Marie; and aunt, Loretta McClade. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Helton, of Daingerfield; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Tina Helton, of Jenkins; daughter Janet Helton and her spouse Harry Peel; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Scott Helton and Sarah Johnston of Jenkins; Eric and Rachel Helton of Waynesville, MO, Ashlee and James Simmons of Pittsburg, Tia and A.J. Leach of Natchitoches, LA, Cody and Randi Daniels of Plano, Cheryl Webb of Daingerfield, Felecia Capps of Oklahoma City, OK, and Amanda Capps of Daingerfield; six great-grandchildren, Willow Helton, Colyn Cochran, Ava Leach, Quinterrian Webb, Corey Webb, and Tysean Sparnglin; brother, Steven Nesselrode of Avinger; sister, Marlene Mezo of Carbondale, IL; three step-sisters and their husbands, Debbie and David Parker, Janice and Cliff Lawrence, and Marsha and Jay Crenshaw; two uncles, Chester Hudson of Parkersburg, WV, and Robert Hudson of Ohio; and one aunt, Ona Webb of Parkersburg, WV.

Cheryl I'm so very sorry I knew Carolyn for many years ,she was a great person and a wonderful cook . She will certainly be missed by many. Prayers for you and your family.
Heaven received another angel and oh what a party it was. brand new body with no pain and no tears. we will miss u a great deal here on earth but will see u again real soon. prayers for the family.
