Carl Lee Moore

Carl Lee Moore, 95, of Linden, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his home in after a lengthy illness. Mr. Moore was born December 13, 1918 in Hillview, Ill. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was also employed with McDonald Aircraft in Illinois before moving to Texas. He had many jobs before retiring as a farmer. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jack Gauges of Illinois; one step daughter and caregiver Sybil Burns of Linden; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; one nephew Ronnie and Mary Jane Killbreu of Illinois and one living brother Glenn T. Moore. He is preceded in death by his lifetime partner of 38 years Hazel Beasly; his mother Adah Killbreu Moore and father William Moore and his two brothers Robert and George Moore. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday June 7, 2014 at Warren Springs Cemetery, with Bro. Taylor Duncan officiating, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Linden.
