Fay Glover

Ollie Fay Glover, 84, of Linden passed away Sunday February 16, 2014 in a local hospital. She was born December 6, 1929 to Dewey Vine Slaton and Georgia Lee Hussey. She was a tax assessor for Cass County and a member of the First Baptist Church of Linden for over 60 years. Survivors include her husband of 67 years Clarence Glover of Linden; two daughters; Sheri Glover Mason (William) of Corinth, Tx., Patti Glover of Georgetown, Tx.; one son, Ricky Glover of Seattle, Wa.; three grandchildren; Cassie Mason Carrigan (Geoff) of Colorado Springs, Co., Matthew Glover and Jake Glover of Seattle, Wa.; two sisters, Willie Mae Rehfus of Plano, Tx., Marian LaDell Coker of Quitman, Tx., and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Ernest Vester Slaton, Thomas Perry Slaton and Lester Marvin Slaton. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Jackie Stanfield officiating. Burial to follow in the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The First Baptist Church of Linden.
Memories of my Aunt Ollie Fayas a little girl was great food, sweet hugs, an out of town outing!!
