Services for Ronald Dee Williams, 71, Lone Star, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Lone Star Baptist and interment at Clark Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013 at the funeral home. He was born October 19, 1942 in Jenkins, Texas to Morris Williams and Martha Black Williams. Mr. Williams retired from Lone Start Steel as a heater operator and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Williams also volunteered at Lakeview Baptist Assembly. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Joseph Lutz; son-in-law Marty Munkres; sisters, Sandra Willeford and Linda Wilson and one brother Jimmy Williams. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley Swanner Williams of Lone Star; 2 daughters and one son-in-law, Lea Ann Munkres of Princeton and Deidra and Myron Matula of Cove.; four grandchildren, Autumn Sloan and Kaitlin Sloan Wallace of Longview, Nicholas and Jonathan Lutz of Cove.; one great-granddaughter Bailey Wallace; four step-grandchildren, Sean and Megan Matula and Nick Matula of Baytown, Kate Matula of Savannah, Ga., and Frank Matula of Cove; one brother Larry Williams of Longview, and a brother in law Herb Wilson. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Lakeview Baptist Assembly, 240 Camp Cr. Lone Star, Texas 75668
