James Travis Terry, 65 of Texarkana, Texas passed away October 15, 2013 at his home. Mr. Terry was born September 9, 1948 in Texarkana,Texas to Wheeler C. and Sadie Moore Terry. James was self employed and work in construction. He is survived by his two sons and daughter-in-law; Jamie and Lori Terry of Texarkana and Chris Wilson of Little Rock, Arkansas, one daughter and son-in-law; Crystal and Gerry Card of Batesville, Mississippi, three brothers; Leslie Terry of McLeod, Tx., Cecil Terry of Fouke, Arkansas and Chester Terry of Australia, two sisters; Patsy Jones of Terrell, Texas and Elvie Hogan of Texarkana, Texas and 11 grandchildren. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Linden and burial will follow in Center Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the the funeral home.
Jamie, chris, crystal im so sorry for ur loss uncle james was a great lovin man and I will miss him so much I loved him he was my fav unckle and everyone knew it , I will miss him but I also know that heisnt in anymore pain and he is in heaven love yall and ur in my prayers love u wanda and family

Pilot Ronald W Trumble from Hawaii. I’ve known James Terry, all of my life, friends growing up Young teenagers. Traveling all over the country hitchhiking staying at each other’s homes growing up as kids just having Time’s as kids. Sorry to hear of your passing ,my God bless you. Ron
