Euna Mae Jackson

Funeral services for Euna Mae Jackson, 77, of Pittsburg, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8, Friday evening at the funeral home. On October 7, 2013 God sought to take his loved one. She fought a good fight. She was born November 17, 1935 to the late Mr. Freeman and Lillie Dell Farmer. She joined church at an early age. She attended school at Center Point and later graduated from Douglass High School. She married Bobby Jackson and to this union two kids were born. She lived her life to the fullest until her health failed. She endured many obstacles. She leaves to mourn her passing, a daughter, Yulanda (Willie) Anderson, of Ore City; two sisters, Thelma Austin, of St, Louis, Missouri, and Betty Farmer, of Pittsburg; four grandsons, Kendrick Jackson, of Pittsburg, Corey (Nikki), Colby, and Brock Houston, all of Dallas; one granddaughter, Demetria Anderson, of Ore City; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; as well as two special people, Michell Hill and Paulette Curlin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Freeman and Lillie D. Farmer; her husband, Bobby Jackson; daughter, Cassandra Jackson; son, Rodney Houston; and two granddaughters, Whitney and Daphne Jackson.
