Floyd Whitaker

Memorial services for Floyd Whitaker, 81, of Gilmer, will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday August 10, 2013 at Holly Springs Baptist Church, in Gilmer. Burial took place at Woodlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Hughes Springs. Mr. Floyd was born April 29, 1932 in Gladewater and passed away August 4, 2013 at a Gilmer hospital. Survivors include his wife, Della Mae Whitaker; one son, Tommy Whitaker, of Gilmer; two grandsons, Kerry and Terry Whitaker, of Gilmer; one half sister, Eunice Daniels, of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
