Linden TX- Lorraine Lee of Douglassville, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home. She was born July 31, 1918 in Cass County, Texas to Parks and Louella Surratt Lee. She was a member of Linden United Methodist Church. Survivors include a sister, Melba McCall of Douglassville; a nephew, Ken Hess of Douglassville; a niece, Janet Bowden, of Linden; two great-nephews, Alex and Miles McDaniel; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Inez Bridges, Faye Bowden and Frances Hess. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. Interment will be in Center Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lorraine was a beautiful soul inside and out. I remember so very well at the family reunions so full of love and laughter. Always smiling. And it's a privilege to be named after her.
Lorraine was such loving, attentive, giving person. She was vicious when it came to playing games though. Loved her dearly.
