Celia Ruth Burrow Pollard Betts Linden TX- Celia Ruth Burrow Pollard Betts, 91, of Tyler, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in a Tyler. She was born October 26, 1921 in Cass County, Texas to Robert Wade Bob Burrow and Lillie Maud Burleson Burrow. Mrs. Betts was retired from Avon. She attended First Baptist Church and Pinecrest Baptist Church in Linden. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Welton Pollard of McAlester, Oklahoma and John Betts of Daingerfield; a daughter, Ruth Ann Spurlock of Tyler; brothers, T.W. Buck Burrow, H.T. Scoot Burrow, Robert Wade Junior Burrow, Jr., Will S. Burrow and her parents. Survivors include a granddaughter, Christi Britton and husband, Ken, of Flint; a grandson, Chris Tiger Rabourn; three great grandsons, Josh, Jared and Jordan Britton of Tyler; and a number of other nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Friday May 24, 2013 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden with Jerry Thomas and Ken Summerfield officiating. Interment will follow in Linden Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10 to 11:00am, Friday.
