LINDEN TX Charles Ethridge White, 77, of Atlanta, passed away at his home on Friday, March 15, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 26, 1935 in Bowie, Texas to Delma and Thelma Betts White. He was a truck driver. Preceding him in death are his parents and a daughter, Jacquelyn Williams. Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Sue White of Atlanta; two sons and a daughter-in-law, T.J. and Melinda White and Ricky White all of Odessa; two daughters and one son-in-law, Charlotte and Jeff Chapman of Andrews and Lora Leigh Mayfield of Atlanta; two sisters, Lola Murray and husband, Cal of Broaddus, Texas and Paula Hall of Perryton; grandchildren, Katie Steward and husband, Thomas, Will Williams and wife, Raquel, Keverlie White, Landon White, Jessica Arredondo, Joshua Arredondo, Michael Arredondo, Naomi Chapman, Jacob Chapman, Aidan Chapman, Haileigh Mayfield, and Journey-Grace Mayfield; great grandchildren, Tommy Steward, Lilly Steward, Lyndsey Steward, Jackson Williams and Grant Williams; Many nieces, nephews and many friends. He was very loved and will be missed greatly. The family would like to say a special thank you to Atlanta Memorial Hospital and Atlanta Home Health and Dr. Fruge and his staff for the loving care that was given to Mr. White. Also, to the staff of Dierkson Hospice for the care and support you gave them. A graveside service will be Monday, March 18, 2013 at 2:00pm in Antioch Cemetery in Atlanta. Bro. J.W. Crow and Bro. Jeff Chapman will officiate. Interment is under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. The family will receive friends from 6 to8:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
