LINDEN TX Karen Ann Alvis, 52, of Texarkana, passed away in Texarkana on Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born August 1, 1960 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Miss Alvis previously lived in Linden. Survivors include her parents Houston and France Alvis of Texarkana, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Cindy Alvis of Colleyville. Karen was a special person and she was loved by many. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
