Kolton Lee Perry, 20 of Avinger was born November 7, 1992 in Athens, Texas, and passed away February 5, 2013 in Avinger. Kolton graduated from Tatum High School and worked for Weatherford International. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers and spending time outdoors. Leaving to cherish his memory: mother and step father, Angie and Brian ONeal of Avinger; father and step mother, Roger and Sandra Perry of Athens, TX; younger sister, Skyler Mathis of Avinger; brother, Carl Perry of Brownsboro, Tx; grandparents, Joe Mathis of Ben Wheeler, Tx; Nana Belinda Mathis of Avinger, Steve and Elaine ONeal of Huffman, Tx., and Jane and Gerald Brown of Brownsboro, TX; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends. Services will be held 11:00 A.M, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Bar None Cowboy Church in Tatum, TX, with Dale Taylor officiating. Burial will be 3:30 Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

  8. Kolton and me were what you would call best buddies, I don't know any other way to put it. We were what most people would call the last of a dyin' breed. Kolton was a great guy and the best friend anyone could ever ask for. He was always willin' to lend a hand and help you out any way he could and not ask anything in return. He was a very special person and had a big influence on a lot of people, includin' me. I'm just glad that I had the honor and priveledge of knowin' him and callin' him my best friend. Kolton ol' buddy you will be forever missed but remembered forever. Get on that big ol' CB up there in Heaven and talk to us down here below. Love and miss ya Big Hoss.

  14. Kolton, I couldn't begin to tell you how much you're going to be missed. It always put a smile on my face to see you and JD come up my driveway, even if it was midnight! You were my first and only Homecoming date in high-school. I still have the mums you gave me hanging on my wall, and that is where they will stay. Everything happens for a reason, I just wish it wouldn't have happened so soon. You are an angel now, so when we need you, just smile that little crooked smile of yours and remember how many family and friends love you. We will always cherish the memories we have together.
