Martha Virginia Stockman

LINDEN TX Martha Virginia Ginnie Stockman, 91, of Linden, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at her home in Linden. She was born January 28, 1921 in Sulligent, Alabama, to John Edward and Maude Cribbs Edwards. She was a department manager for Sears and a member of First Baptist Church in Linden. Survivors include a daughter, Dianne Wenzel of Linden; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Barrow. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday January 25, 2013, at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday January 28, 2013 1:00 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home (Vernon, Alabama) with Eddie Finch and Jeff Harvill officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery.
