Eloise Rushing

Services for Eloise Rushing will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Enon Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Kellyville Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc., of Hughes Springs. Mrs. Rushing will lie in state Friday afternoon at the funeral home. Elouise Moody Rushing was born May 19, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Howard and Pinkie Moody. She passed away August 15, 2012 in a Dallas area hospital. Eloise united with Enon Baptist Church at an early age. She graduated from Victory High School in Marion County and worked as a factory worker until she became disabled due to health complications. During her marriage to Joezell Rushing, two children were born. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Pinkie Moody; and one brother Robert Lewis Moody, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Sharon (Ronald, Sr.) Hayes, of Kennedale, Texas; one son, Arnold (Bobbie) Rushing, of Murphy, Texas; one sister Sadalia (Leodis) Smith, of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Artis Ray (Nevelyn) Moody, of Marshall, Texas, Cordell Moody, of Mims, Texas, and Edward Houston, of Oakland, California; six grandchildren, Tavares, Tacorya, Kendrick, Valerie, Ronald Jr., and Jessica; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
