LINDEN TX-Funeral services for Calvin Wayne Hawley, 61, of Douglassville, will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home Chapel in Linden with Rev. Danny Taylor officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Douglassville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Hawley was born May 31, 1951 in Texarkana, Arkansas to William Calvin Hawley and Dorothy Lucille Brown Hawley. He passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at his home. He was retired from the U.S. Army having served in Viet Nam and Iraqi Freedom. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Seward, his step-father, Clyntis R. Pop Seward, a brother, John Hawley and a sister, Mary Sue Seward. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Hawley of Douglassville; two daughters, Christina Hoipkemier of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Sandra Hawley of Douglassville; two brothers, Donald Seward of Texarkana, Texas and James (Rick) Hawley of New Boston; five grandchildren, Autumn Fite, Dusty Hoipkemier, Jr and Destiny Hoipkemier of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Alyssa Hawley-Twite and Emily Hawley of Douglassville; and a host of other family and friends.
