Funeral Services for Dustin Paul Williams, 30, of Hughes Springs, will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Dustin Paul Williams was called home to be with our Lord Wednesday June 20, 2012. Dustin was born December 26, 1981 to his loving parents Max and Debbie Williams of Hughes Springs, TX at the Hospital in the Pines. Dustin lived life to the fullest and had a contagious personality. Dustins free spirit allowed him to touch the lives of countless individuals and always leave them laughing. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed working with his hands. Above all other hobbies he loved playing music and writing songs. Dustin met the love of his life Lacy McMahen on the 9th of June 2005 and they were married on the 26th of October 2006. Dustin is survived by his wife Lacy, daughter Kyra, and son Lane of Hughes Springs, his mother and father Max and Debbie Williams of Hughes Springs, one sister Amanda Gammill and her husband Ricky of Hughes Springs, one brother Joey Williams and his wife Candi of Hughes Springs, two grandmothers; Yvonne Pritchett of Hughes Springs and Carolyn Williams of Emory, TX, six nephews and one niece, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Dustin will be sorely missed but his legacy will always live on through his children and all the great memories he left us with. I am praying for you daily. I can't imagine how hard it is to have lost someone so close. Dustin was an awesome guy and will be missed. I know sometimes we wonder why things happen, but try to remember that he is with God now. We must trust the Lord through it all. Praying for peace during all of this. May God bless you all.

annoying the band directorNever forget all the times dustin & ricky would find a way to make mr squiers life a nightmare. from sneaking to the concession stand at the game to vanishing when trying to get ready for concert or monday night practice. you never knew what he would do next. planet got a lil smaller when i heard we had lost chunk. glad i knew him.

There isn't a time that goes by when "Time of Your Life" by GreenDay plays on the radio that I do not think of our graduation when Dustin played & sang our class song. He was always smiling, always cheerful…always making people laugh. He was a wonderful friend to everyone & will be greatly missed.

Dustin, the Squirmy ToddlerMy first job in Hughes Springs after moving there from Marshall in the Spring of 1983 was taking care of seven-year-old Joey, four-year-old Mandy, and fourteen-month-old Dustin. Dustin would inevitably squirm out of my grasp before I could get his diaper changed! Seeing his sweet little grin as he scampered down the hall looking back at me will remain in my memory forever. "Dustin Paul, come back here so I can change you", I'd call while chasing after him. My three children considered the Williams children as extended family. During one entire six-week time period, all six kids had the chicken pox that Spring! That's just one memory they share. As a grown man, Dustin always stretched out his arm to hug me when he saw me at the baseball field or elsewhere and inquired as to how I was doing.His passing is as painful as losing one of my own. I'll miss seeing him so much, but know I'll see him again. I expect he'll have his arm stretched out toward me with a wide grin on his face. I'll say, "Dustin Paul, get over here and give me a hug!" And no doubt, he will.

Dustin made a lasting impression on me from the first moment I met him. So happy and never meeting a stranger. He absolutely loved his family and he did not mind showing this to all. Dustin is truly one of the most wonderful persons I have ever met and I am so blessed to have shared in his life.
We are so sad to hear about Dustin. What a sweet young man he truly was. We have memories of him in Sunday School when he was a little boy to Mike coaching him in baseball. What a true blessing from God he was. Our prayers are with all of you at this time. We are here if you need anything.
