Funeral services for Arthurlena Bolden, 69, of Avinger, will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Avinger. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Ms. Bolden will lie in state Friday, May 25, 2012 at the funeral home. Arthurlena Bolden was born to the late Jakie and Gracie Bolden on January 22, 1943 in Avinger, Texas. She was the fourth of six children and was called to rest on May 19, 2012. She was an active member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church until her health failed her. During her lifetime, she was the proud mother of five children whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jakie and Gracie Bolden; one brother Willie B. Linwood Sr.; one sister Ernestine Winslett. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Fernita (Thomas) Wesley of Avinger, TX, Melonie (Raymond) Johnson, of Tyler, TX and Talarisha (James) Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri; Two sons, Tony Garnett and Michael Ray Bolden, both of Avinger, TX; two sisters, Louisa (Willie) Dowell, of Avinger, TX and Johnetta Coby, of Dallas, TX; one brother, Earnest Bolden, of Avinger, TX; nine grandchildren, Ronnie (Keisha) Bolden, Deshawn (Monique) Gilliam, Crystal Thomas, Ennisha Bolden, Keron Finley, Mikshala Bolden, Michelle Bolden, Trevor Bolden, Trent Bolden, Enrique Gilliam, Jeremiah Gilliam, Jayden Gilliam, JaCayden Bolden, King Finley; and a host of nieces , nephews, and other relatives.
