Vernon Barton

Funeral service for Von Vernon Barton, 86, of Hughes Springs will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Hughes Springs Church of Christ with Bro. Gary Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc., of Hughes Springs. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the funeral home. Mr. Barton was born October 4, 1925 and passed away February 12, 2012 at his home. He was a member of Hughes Springs Church of Christ. Preceding him in death are two children Virginia Sue Barton and Elizabeth Ann Fleenor; two sisters; and three brothers. Mr. Barton is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Cynthia and Komer West and Beverly Robbins, all of Hughes Springs; two sisters Estelle Day and Peggy Oliver, both of Hughes Springs; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
