Carmel Jean "Candy" Adams

Carmel Jean Candy Adams, 54, of Hughes Springs died July 10, 2010 at Margaretts House in Longview after a long illness. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Ms. Adams was born June 27, 1956 in Houston. She had been a member of the U.S. Peace Corps. With the Peace Corps she was stationed in Albuquerque and travelled abroad. Later, she was a baker. She is survived by her mother Dorothy Ann Jones of Hughes Springs; two sisters Frances Lovelady of Hughes Springs and Debbie Smith of Stafford; three brothers Leonard Smith of Lufkin, and David Smith and Wendell Smith, both of Lone Star, and many nieces and nephews.
