Funeral services for Lurlene Epps, 44, of Avinger, will be 10 AM on Saturday, May 29th at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. R.C. Gomillia officiating. Burial to follow at Salem Cemetery in Linden under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Ms. Epps was born on April 30, 1966 in Atlanta, TX to Willie Love, Sr. and Mary Jeanette Epps and died on Monday, May 24, 2010 at a Longview hospital. Survivors include one son Corderall Epps of Avinger; one daughter Jasmine Epps of Avinger; three sisters Jewel (Chris) Dowell of Avinger, Yolanda (Gerald) Hatten of Hughes Springs and Arizona (Sylvain) Warren of Portland, Oregon; two brothers Azell (Joann) Love of Garland, L.D. (Carleta) Love of Oklahoma; a special cousin Lisa Dowell of Avinger; aunt Oreda Epps of Atlanta and host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Willie Love, Jr. and her grandmother Mary Epps. Visitation will be on Friday, May 28th afternoon and evening at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.
