Harold Glenn Baird

Funeral services for Harold Glenn Baird, 79, of Daingerfield, will be at 2 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Daingerfield Church of Christ with Norman Miller and Tim Gibbs officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Baird was born on June 21, 1930 in Kingsville, TX to Justice and Ollie Mae Baird and died on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at a Longview hospital. Mr. Baird was in the US Navy during Korea. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Emily; one son and daughter-in-law Glenn and Bettina Baird of Daingerfield; two daughters and one son-in-law Paula Marie and Franklin Warner of Pleasure Point and Janis Satterfield of Daingerfield; one brother Jerry Baird of Hughes Springs; six grandchildren Michael Meadows, Marty Meadows, Deann Loggins, Megan Fitzgerald, Billy Harold Satterfield and Stacey Terry; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, December 11, 2009 and the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Hughes Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Abused Childrens Fund of Morris County.
