Funeral services for Wattie Lee Washington, 96, of Avinger, will be at 2 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Pastor JC Watkins officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Washington was born on May 9, 1913 in Marion County to Garfield and Ada Graham and died on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at a Hughes Springs nursing home. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Earl Washington; two daughters Katie Bell Jones and Scedelia Durden; four brothers Bud, West, Kid and Tim Graham; one sister Liz Graham. Survivors include one daughter Willie Ruth Tatum; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren; two sisters Lucille Police and Mable Perkins both of Avinger; one brother Marion Man Graham of Avinger. Viewing will be on Friday, May 29th and the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.
