Hughes SpringsFuneral services for Arnelle Womack, 76, of Hughes Springs, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, at First United Methodist Church in Hughes Springs with the Rev. Mickey Rorex officiating, assisted by Rev. Ralph Hale. Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Womack will lie in state Monday evening at the funeral with the family receiving friends after 6 p.m. She died Sunday, September 10 in a Longview nursing home. She was born February 9, 1930 in Alvord, Texas. Mrs. Womack was a nurse and a member of the First United Methoidst Church of Hughes springs. She is survived by one daughter Teri Turner of Forney and one son and daughter-in-law Tim and Angie Womack of Longview, another daughter-in-law Becky Womack of Queen City; two brothers and sisters-inn-law Bill and Ramona Fergason of Texarkana and Charles and Nancy Fergason of Ennis; seven grandchildren Jimmy Womack, Wendi Johnston, Chris Womack, Drew Womack, Greg Geddie, Kealey Womack, Kendon Womack and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Womack was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Womack, her son Bill Womack and a sister Celeste Hickman..
