Freddie Coleman

Services for Freddie A. Coleman, 71, of Jefferson, will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Paradise A.M.E., Jefferson with Rev. James Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Coleman died Friday, August 18, 2006 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1935 in Marion County, Texas. He retired from the U.S. Army after more than 22 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Codella Coleman, his brother, Eddie Coleman, and his sister, Della Coleman. He is survived by three sons, Covell Coleman of Portland, Oregon, Paul Hunter of Queen City, Texas, and Darnell McInnis of Lawton, Oklahoma; one daughter, Nina Lawson of Texarkana, TX; two brothers, James Coleman of Portland, Oregon and Tommie Coleman of Jefferson, TX; two sisters, Gladys Weatherall of Dallas and Murline Rideaux of Los Angeles, CA; eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Viewing and visitation will be Friday afternoon at the funeral home.
