Services for Mark “Bubba” Thorp, 19, of Linden, formerly of Merkel, TX will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday July 30, 2006 at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Chapel with Rev. Jackie Stanfield officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2006 at Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Linden, Texas. Mark died Wednesday, July 28, 2006 in Cass County, Texas. He was born March 9, 1987 in Abilene, Texas. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Patsy and Dale Higgins of Linden, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sandra and Robert Dunlap of Doddridge, AR and Beth Thorp of Linden; grandmother, Doris Massey of Linden; niece, Kaylee Walters of Linden; nephew, Justin Dunlap of Doddridge, AR; and several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
